Great vibes, super friendly employees, great hibachi style chef and oh my god was the food AMAZING and full of flavor. By far my favorite hibachi spot in town now.
Really good food. Like REALLY good! It's kinda a hole in the wall and in a weird spot of town but it's awesome. I got a peach saketini and it was crazy good. The sauces they make are so good!! We were celebrating my best friends birthday and the chef made the rice into a penis shape and made the sauce cum on her plate LOL. The perfect experience. So much fun and amazing food!
We are so glad that a friend told us about this place!! Barely off the vegas strip (you'll want an uber, too far to walk!) this is a must-stop when in Vegas. Don't be concerned that it is in a strip mall. You definitely need a reservation, especially if you want chef Tiger (which I highly recommend requesting). Call and make your reservation early, and keep calling if you don't get through. It is worth it! Tiger is great and makes the best hibachi we've ever had. He goes above and beyond and made us 4-5 additional fresh-made sauces in addition to the normal ginger and shrimp/yum yum sauce. They were all so delicious. He also seasons all of the food very well and does some creative things during the show. You get so much food and like I said it is so tasty! They also have a great sake menu. We came back three years later and it was still just as good as we remembered if not better.
Musashi was the absolute best hibachi I have ever had in my life!! Wow, what an amazing find just a block off the vegas strip in a little strip mall with easy parking! I came on a Tuesday & was sat immediately with another party for our teppanyaki dinner. Our chef, Tiger, and he was phenomenal... full of character, adult jokes, and just gave me a Vegas experience... but the food truly was the best Japanese hibachi I have ever had! We started with the usual salad & clear soup, and then Tiger started his presentation. He's been cooking teppanyaki style for 36 years & it definitely shows! He made 3 different sauces on the grill while he was getting the veggies & shrimp cooked. I've never had the chef actually make 3 unique sauces (in addition to the mayo & ginger sauces). He cooked bean sprouts & shrimp, and then the fried rice & veggies. I got the ribeye cooked perfectly rare. As usual, it was way more food than I needed but it boxed up nicely. With iced tea, ribeye & fried rice, my meal was only $60 after tax (plus a healthy $30 tip, obviously!) I was so lucky to join an awesome group of friends so it made my solo teppanyaki experience even better! Chef Tiger really made it a wonderful night & I will absolutely be back here next time I'm in Vegas.. wow, wow, wow. What a great 90minute experience with the best meal & show!! Don't sleep on Musashi, it's incredible!!
This is by far the best Japanese steakhouse I've been to! I've been in GA, AL, Tn, California. We had Tiger as a chef and maaaaannnn Talk about delish! He makes this one sauce he calls Rick Ross fav. It's worth going just for that! We got chicken and prawns and we're not disappointed!
Best tep in town, i have never came here and had a bad experience. Tiger is a tep master. The variety of sauces he makes for all the food is amazing. The staff is always super attentive, and the vibes is always super fun and chill. I always go for the Musashi special. In my opinion the best to get on the menu. Again if you're looking for an awesome teppanyaki place Musahsi is the spot to go.
Visited this place for the first time for my partner and I's anniversary. We were fortunate enough to walk in right at opening, and since we were the first diners of the teppanyaki tables for the night, we had the pleasure of our chef being the ever-so-famous Tiger mentioned in all of the yelp reviews. Tiger was incredible and we had a genuinely great conversation with him about his family, his recent trip to Japan, and his work. He also treated us to a great show at the table, but we genuinely liked the guy. You can tell when a chef loves his work-- and the flavor profile I received showed that. I opted for the Ribeye and lobster combo, the meat was juicy and well marinated, and there were plenty of veggies and rice to fill me up and leave me satisfied. Pre-meal, you are also offered a salad and soup. Everything was delicious. We had also mentioned our anniversary to the chef, who must've relayed the message to our server (I wish I remembered his name, but he had an awesome mustache!), because we received a really sweet plate with ice cream and whipped cream after our meal. The staff was excellent, from our server to the waitress who made sure our waters were never less than halfway. This is going to be our go-to teppanyaki place from now on. It's a little pricy, as you'd expect from such a service, both worth every penny in food and entertainment.
Visited this place as I was looking for some teppanyaki/habachi restaurant with some food reviews on yelp and found this close to my hotel. So let me start with the positive. The food was of good quality and overall good flavor and good overall tasting. However, I do have to say, some of food was overall saturated in garlic. The cook used so much garlic, I was smelling like garlic until 2 days later. While garlic adds great flavor, over use of it is not good. The steak was tender and good flavor. The shrimp also was good and so was the chicken. Great tasting fried rice as well. Now the cook was super funny and great throughout the entire meal. Very good and cooked food very well. The restaurant itself is updated and overall along with this whole retail center is nice, clean and good security which made my guest and I feel good. Overall, I would visit this place again but ask the cook to really dial back the garlic. It was just too much and didn't want to be the only one at the table making life hard for the chef. But next time I would ask for less garlic for sure. This is a good option for dinner and a nice spot with good overall customer service! I went during a Tuesday and it was busy but not that busy.
Japanese hibachi steakhouse located near the Las Vegas strip. If you do not make a reservation, you will probably not get in. I highly recommend making a reservation at least a week before. The only cons I could give is the location of the restaurant after 9 PM does get a little sketchy in the parking lot, so be careful. The restaurant does get very busy so service was not as fast as we would have preferred but still great customer service. So we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive and we were early, so we sat at the bar while we waited for our table. I did not get the bartenders name, but he could have his own comedy show. He was absolutely hilarious. We started off with the lychee sake martini, which was yummy. Our hibachi chef was named Calvin. He was a younger guy, but again, absolutely hilarious and fantastic. The hibachi meal comes with a salad, soup, shrimp appetizer, and then your meal of course. Fried rice is a five dollar up charge. I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection. Overall, we had a fantastic time.
What a blast at Musashi Japanese in Las Vegas! We celebrated my girlfriend's parents' birthdays here, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our chef was not only a master of the grill but also a stand-up comedian. He had us in stitches as he whipped up a culinary masterpiece before our eyes, complete with egg-flipping and rice artistry. For our main courses, my girlfriend and I indulged in the mouthwatering ribeye, while her parents opted for chicken and the New York strip. The beef miso soup that came as an appetizer was simply fire! Don't miss out on it. The meal kicked off with a fresh salad and that flavorful soup, and then the culinary magic began right in front of us. Now, let's talk ambiance. The restaurant exudes an authentic Japanese charm with its warm, inviting decor, reminiscent of a traditional teppanyaki experience in Japan. The low lighting and wooden accents create an intimate and cozy atmosphere that perfectly complements the lively show at the grill. It's like stepping into a little corner of Japan right in Las Vegas. Of course, I couldn't resist my usual hot sake. And here's the kicker - for birthdays, they have this hilarious tradition called the "beer bong." Trust me; it's a riot! They make you kneel and sip from a rather unique cup, to say the least. I wholeheartedly recommend Musashi Japanese for any special occasion or birthday celebration. It's a place where delicious food meets fantastic entertainment in an ambiance that transports you to Japan. An evening to remember, indeed! Enjoy your next visit!
